SID with Me – (GER)
‘SID with me’ is an experimental black & white sound and video art (2 parts) of 10 mins each. There is absence of human voice or humanoid form in this dialectic discussion between 2 characters which is around concepts and social existence of otherness. The ‘human’ sound is artificially generated voices. It uses, digital hand drawings, black and white animation to create a visual illusion while sound has 3 three types of sound: ASMR, everyday life soundscapes and dialogue.
Inaam – (UK)
A short film about a lawyer, who becomes a cab driver in london when he migrates in hope of a better future. He lives through financial and social hardships to fend for his family, only to be met by a harsh and racist environment.

+ve Space (PAK)
A musical travel documentary which shows Lahore, its historical architecture, culture, people and music traditions. The film is about the journey of a German Trumpet player – Mr. Manfred Hof, to Pakistan. He experiences the sights, sounds and flavors of Lahore in addition to jamming with the internationally renowned flutist Mr. Baqir Abbas.
Kahani Wali Game (PAK)
A short film about a woman who suffers from PTSD due to the conditions in Pakistan. The character struggles with the fear of loosing her husband everyday, as he is a policeman.
MNLT (PAK)
NOTE: **Voice of the domestic worker has been change to keep her anonymous and safe.**
This is a hybrid documentary film which uses elements of expository and performative documentary styles using just words as visual- appearing in English while the entire audio is in Urdu – Pakistan’s national language. It is about a female domestic worker in Lahore, Pakistan. The film is an attempt to narrate/document a day in the life of an average female domestic worker, who is resilient and persistent in her dreams, working in Lahore, Pakistan.
Polite Indifference (GER)
This is a feature documentary film, entirely shot in Germany in 2004.
It was done with/for an artists residency which was based on North Rhine – Westphalia. It was search into what ‘german-ness’ is.
There were numerous interviews recorded, of a very wide variety of speakers, from history students to punks, from University professors to Urdu language instructors, from Germans who were alive during the Munich Olympic scandal to a Korean student living in Germany.
The film was exhibited as an installation. In the first 2 gallery spaces, walls were covered with paper. Audience were invited to write their ideas of what German-ness is.
Tribute to Asma Jilani Jahangir
( 27 Jan 1952 – 11 Feb 2018) was a internationally reknowned Pakistani human rights lawyer, Feminist and social activist who co-founded and chaired the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and AGHS Legal Aid Cell. Jahangir was known for playing a prominent role in the Lawyers’ Movement and served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief and as a trustee at the International Crisis Group.
